...Miley's 1st Birthday...

Miley turned 1 in May. We were in Boise the week before her birthday for the Color Me Rad 5k, so we decided to throw Miley, and Kacie's son, Jake, who was turning 2 in May, a joint birthday party at my mom's house. They both love bubble guppies, so that part was easy peasy lemon squeezy.

It was so fun to celebrate Miley. The focus was hardly on her cute babyliciousness her first year, what with all the moving and shenanigans so it was nice to focus on her and honor her cute little one year old chubby ball of amazingness.

When we got back home to Utah, we threw Miley a low key shin dig on her ACTUAL birthday. Despite it's low budget setting, it was actually really really fun.

Her gifts were...a push pop, a box of tissues, a homemade rattle from Macy and a homemade kite from Luke. :) The box of tissues was THE BIGGEST hit, and the rattle was a favorite toy of hers for a good 3 months. 

She actually sat there and pulled EVERY SINGLE ONE out... it was amazing.

Miley is the best, and I feel like our family would be somehow boring without her. She is the cutest and says please and thank you, more than anyone I've ever met. She loves doggies and kitties and trucks and team umizoomi almost as much and she loves her family. WE LOVE YOU MILEY!
