We try to spend as much time as possible outside, in the summer because the winter is so FREAKING cold. We played in the backyard with the hose and sprinklers lots!

We played in the rain...and in most some cases we played pants-less in the rain.
And apparently we play outside in trash cans, when mommy is not home and daddy is in charge.
Speaking of Daddy, Rich had the fun idea of dragging our TV out onto our front deck and hosting an outdoor movie party! We invited some friends over, popped some popcorn and watched the Lorax. It was a blast and we plan on hosting at least one more before the summer says sayonara.
We went huckleberry picking for the first time...
...and then promptly turned them into huckleberry topping for ice cream....cause that's how we roll.
Macy, our budding event planner, spent an entire evening planning a tea party. She planned everything from the menu, to the party layout, to the outfits, to the guest list. Macy is most in her element when she gets to tell people what to do and how to do it. We hope that translates into a career where she can live out her passions of being outgoing and bossy and make tons of money to give to her parents. :)
